Facing the Opioid Epidemic

Speakers include: Jill Harris (Director of Brooklyn’s Justice 2020 Initiative), Dr. Susan Whitely (Director of Chemical Dependency Department at Kings County Hospital), Dr. Brian F. Sands (Section Chief for Substance Use Disorder Services, Veteran Affairs), and Susan Herman (NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Collaborative Policing), Patricia Zuber-Wilson (Office of Government Affairs and Federal Policy at NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services), Sara Benjamin, who lost her son, Kasriel to an overdose six years ago, and Jay Mcray, 66 from Harlem, a former opioid addict in recovery.
